I like this Kojic bar! When I first got it in the mail, I didn’t even have the box open and I could smell the fragrance from the bar, so it is very strong. Some people may not mind, but others who are sensitive to smell should take note. The ridges on the bar makes it easier to grip onto the sides to hold when using it, especially in the shower. I make sure to take it out of the shower for it to dry so it stays in tact as long as possible.
I gradually saw a few areas of my skin subtly brighten after multiple uses over 2 weeks, but I did notice that my skin felt a bit more sensitive being out in the sun, so I have to make sure I’m applying sunscreen everyday, at least a couple times a day. I noticed one of my darker sunspots on the side of my face has gotten lighter, and that it seems to be doing good at slowly tackling any minor scars or reducing redness from acne. On my arms, it has helped blur the “farmer’s tan lines” on my biceps, but my forearms only look slightly lighter overall.
The only thing that I haven’t noticed a difference are the little freckles across my nose and cheeks. If anything, they seem a little more noticeable. But since there are many, I’m sure it will be much longer for me to notice any changes. Overall, it is a subtle transformation for me, helping to even out and brighten my skin tone. I rarely leave product reviews but this one had to be highlighted. I have dry skin. I took Accutane a few years ago and since then my acne has gotten better but my skin is dehydrated. I have struggled to find a face wash that cleans my skin without stripping it or breaking me out. I was getting some small surface-level breakouts.
This soap is amazing. I have tried so many face washes in the past and nothing compares to this. I don't know how this soap is not crazy popular yet but I'm so glad I leaped to try it because as of now I am never using another face wash again. My skin is clean and so soft, but not tight or stripped of moisture, and its helped to brighten my dark spots and overall complexion. It has also helped with those small surface-level breakouts.
Thank you kitsch for making this soap, I am obsessed!
If you have any reservations about buying this soap, don't. My skin is complicated and sensitive and it's loving this soap.

Unfortunately I couldn't use it on my face because of my seborrheic dermatitis, however it did a great magic on my arms! I have Keratosis pilaris, which caused me a lot of scars, and after just 2 weeks of using the Kojic acid bar it looks a lot better! The redness disappeared, the spots and scars are barely visible!
My skin feels softer and hydrated even without moisturizer.
The bar has a very pleasant citrusy scent, and it lathers perfectly.
This bar is an absolute keeper for me, thank you Kitsch for the opportunity!

I’ve been have been washing my face with the soap every morning and night, after taking my make up off, for a moth now. I think you can see my marks starting to fade. I’ll keep going as the soap makes my face feel really clean and soft and it smells absolutely amazing.

A few weeks ago, I woke up to a rash all over my face and arms, a clear indication of my inflammation. On the left, you'll see the rash on day two. Using the bar every two days, I witnessed a remarkable transformation - my rash dried up and disappeared within a week! Have dark pigmentation spots on my arms, neck and legs. Tried this soap for a few weeks now and the pigmentation is much less visible! I forgot to take a before-picture for reference, but it was a lot darker.
The soap smells ok, not my usual choice of scent but it’s not bad.

I have only been using this on my face for a week (and only every other day) and I can already see some of my dark spots lighting up! And my over all skin tone evening out. The picture on the left was taken on December 1 and the one on the right was taken December 8th. I’m excited to see what next week will bring.
